Kimberly K. Harris is a community strategist, digital equity leader, educator, and advocate dedicated to helping communities build the capacity, partnerships, and resources needed to thrive.
As Founder and Principal Consultant of Harris K Solutions, Kimberly works with nonprofits, libraries, municipalities, educational institutions, workforce organizations, and faith-based communities to strengthen organizations, engage residents, secure funding, and create sustainable impact.
Her leadership in digital equity began during her tenure as Director of the William Leonard Public Library District, where she witnessed firsthand how gaps in broadband access, technology infrastructure, and digital skills impacted individuals, families, and organizations.
Today, Kimberly serves as Co-Chair of the Southland Digital Equity Action Committee (DEAC), helping advance digital inclusion efforts across 43 municipalities throughout suburban Cook County.
